The Chair is a piece of furniture.
As such, it cannot be considered responsible of a crime:
she is just the murder weapon.
If we were talking about a crime of passion,
perhaps it would be different.
The murder weapon, because it's there, makes the murder possible.
Not so with our department.
The Chair is stupidly innocent.
She doesn't understand.
She doesn't act,
except as a tool.
Yes, the Chair is just a tool.
Tools don't kill, people do.
